Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS – 9mm (15+1 Rounds)

The Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS takes the hugely popular compact G19 platform and adds Glock’s Modular Optic System, giving you a factory-cut slide with adapter plates for mounting popular micro red-dot sights while retaining standard iron sights. This makes it an excellent choice if you want a single pistol that can run both dots and irons for defence, duty or sport.

As a Gen 5 model, it includes the Glock Marksman Barrel for enhanced accuracy, a revised trigger system and a frame without finger grooves for a cleaner, more universal grip. An ambidextrous slide stop lever improves usability for left-handed shooters, and a lightly flared magwell helps speed up reloads under pressure.

In standard configuration, the Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS uses double-stack 9mm magazines that provide a 15+1 round capacity, with optional magazines up to 24, 31 or 33 rounds for range and competition use. Gen 5 magazines feature an orange follower for better visibility but the pistol remains compatible with many earlier 9mm Glock magazines.

Front slide serrations (on FS/MOS variants) give extra traction for press-checks and manipulations, and the nDLC finish on slide and barrel offers increased hardness and corrosion resistance – valuable in South African heat, humidity or sweat-heavy concealed carry.
